What a long day! There is hurricane coming here tomorrow - Hurricane Fay. We are getting out of town before we get stuck here. We have to get home for school to start. Landon starts tomorrow. Good bye Tif, Luke, Landon, and Peyton! We love you and will look forward to seeing you when Ashlyn is born! 
The cab was a bit crowded with our sacks on the way back to the airport to meet Dad!
We were all in the back seat of the cab and it was hot; no air working in the cab! We still had fun!
Everybody got a new hairdo at Mario Tricoci.
It was an early morning and we arrived before the stores opened and so we found a place to have breakfast and coffee. This was before Rachel's hair appt. Notice her hair was up!

The new hairdo! Beautiful! She got to meet Mario and they asked her to sign up for Beauty School right there! We will wait for her business degree first...good idea Rachel. 
We had a wonderful time with Susie and Holly home for a week. We spent a couple of days at Lake Okoboji and Grandad and Jacquie came too. The weather was perfect for boating and eating outside! We love you Susie and Holly! Come home soon!
He has very long fingers and toes! He will be a good athlete! Yeah!

We stayed for four days and were so blessed to be a part of the whole experience. Jackson is a very content baby and he has lots of people to give him attention. We flew home on Wednesday so we could get ready to go to Florida for Peyton's first birthday! They are exactly one year a part. Making both birthday parties will be a challenge through the years, but it will be fun! We are so thankful to the Lord for our grandchildren, they are truly a blessing. 
We were at Okoboji and got the call that Alissa was in labor. We flew from Spencer on the jet and were there within 3 hrs. She had hard labor for 8 hours and they took the baby by c-section at 9:22PM. Michael went into the nursery with Jackson and they were bonding crying together! It was so sweet! Michael is going to make a wonderful father! (Rumor has it that Grandma Cheryl almost passed out in the nursery watching them give Jackson shots and whatever?) Alissa was so brave throughout the ordeal and she is a great mommy!
